Setting Free in 2003

Twelve years ago Darren and I had a vision. We began working with those with addictive and/or destructive behavior(s) on street corners and anywhere else we were allowed to share the message of hope and healing. God has honored our prayers and our heart’s desire to bring forth the message of deliverance and to be able to help those and their families with the problem of addiction(s) and/or destructive behavior(s) to become set free by the WORD of God, the POWER of God and the LOVE of God.

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has released information stating that the cost of drug abuse in our nation is nearly $110 billion a year and that illicit drug abuse con-tributes to many of the social ills plaguing society such as violent crime, the spreading of AIDS, poverty, homelessness, teenage pregnancy, school dropout rates, family violence and ris-ing healthcare costs.
 

94%of churches in America reported that addiction(s)affect them,a loved one or a close friend.Only 12%of churches in America have a program set up to meet this need. Statistics have also shown that more treatment and/or substance abuse meetings are needed to help those get on the road to recovery.

The SET FREE INDEED ministry team provides group and one-on-one counseling for every-one that attends. We also offer counseling and encouragement to family members whose loved ones are struggling with addiction.
